Due to a childhood accident, Ndeye suffered from burns that left her with facial discoloration. Subsequently, she had to mix foundations from other brands just to match her complexion. It was then that she realized there was a demand for more inclusive cosmetics, so she created her own. Belle Cosmetics intentionally chooses to break away from traditional beauty norms while offering a fresh, and innovative solution.
